on-line window shopping day

Every Sunday night, I usually browse websites of stores located in the US. It's the start of the week and the start of their "weekly ads'. How I wish stores here in the Philippines would have such offers too. Aside from their clearance sales, they also feature certain products that they would offer in lesser amounts through discounts or rebates (instant rebates and mail-in rebates). Mind you, there are products that would cost you nothing as in $0.00 or you can even earn from it after mail-in rebates especially gadgets...laptops, mp3 players, routers, cameras, etc. Even in foods, discounts are given but often times with the use of coupons. I remember watching an episode of Oprah that features someone that they call "the coupon queen". She would really collect coupons, even place it in a clear folders and watch it out when should she buy those products. Also, she really calls the company of certain products and ask for coupons because she wanted to try out their product and after she have tried and enjoyed it, she would again ask for coupons and tell them that she really liked their product and would like to buy some more so she ask for discounts. Her children tells that they never experienced buying something which is not on sale. Advise given by the coupon queen, "never wait to shop for something when you needed it badly, shop when you think you should, when discounts are available and not when the coupons are expired.
