I've watch an episode on TV something like this before. A man with his foot gangrene tries this Maggots therapy rather than having his foot cut. His foot is covered with a cloth and maggots underneath. At first he can't seem to take it, he's very uncomfortable, of course if you know that something is crawling in your feet... But after which his foot healed from the wounds and need not to cut it down anymore. Another medical alternative is now being used here in the Philippines. Also an episode of Grey's Anatomy featured a patient with so many reddened parts on his face and so they used Leeches.
Some thinks these must be crazy but other says what the heck! as long as they would be better, they'll try it and go for it.
